How Nate Got Started

At the young age of 13, Nate's father, Norm Crete, got him a job at Dave Whitcomb's Auto in the Citgo gas station in Essex Jct, VT. Nate was only in middle school when he started working for Dave, but at that young age he already had his sights on owning his own shop one day. In Nate's junior year of high school he attended the Essex Technical Center for automotive, and by that time he was hooked. He graduated from high school in 1999 and continued to work for Dave. Nate opened his first shop in 2006, which started in his garage directly across the street from Dave Whitcomb's. Within six months of opening the shop, he hired his first technician. At the one year mark he moved his shop to a bigger and more professional space in Williston. Two years after moving to the new shop, in 2009 Nate purchased some land in Essex and began building his dream shop. The new shop was completed in 2010. From the beginning Nate would always buy newer tools and equipment whenever he had a little extra money. Investing in these important tools has helped Nate succeed at a very rapid pace. Now he has a state of the art alignment rack, tire mounting and balancing machines, scanning tools such as a Snap On Modis and a Vag Com scanner, a tow truck, and detailing equipment. The biggest reason behind Nate's success is because of the trust he and his employees have built between the customers and the shop.
